Disadvantages: Cuts you off every hour and Maximum Stress

I have an ic24 for free ISP. The great thing is it's free of charge, no bills, BUT and a very big BUT because, for some reason they've come up with an ingenious idea. The idea being: "I know, lets cut them off every hour to increase the chance of them getting cheesed off and shove a cat into a microwave...", well somewhere along the lines of that.
Why in all honesty have they put it in, some one help because I have fried my cat several times now...
