... having many technical difficulties with my broadband provider (AOL) I decided it was time I had a look around for a better deal. I currently have my TV package with sky and had heard through friends that they had some good broadband packages. I called their callcentre and was offered several different packages. These packages are dependant on the different type of user you are. Now Im an absolute technical numpty and dont understand all this MB language. However, after reading the awful reviews about their terrible service I thought it was wise to stick with BT. Afterall I ve been with them for 19 years, since I moved house, and had broadband for 4-5 years. I ve never had alot of trouble with them. There is the occasional disconnection, but that s to be expected since I live in the countryside. Their router is extremely fast. The wireless isn t that great, but is still pretty fast. ... 2006 - 2007 i had my first tr with Virgin media, i had broadband, phone (free at weekend) and tv for £30, my experience with virgin had been poor, we got cut off a few times after we d paid a bill and they hadnt processed it. in the end we left, i put this down to teething issues as it had just taken over ntl. I signed up to Virgin media again on November 5th, I was given an estimated go live date of the 14th, i head nothing for weeks, got a coupld of welcome letters and told phone should be up soon.
