Virgin.net Broadband:
... personally think that Virgin Broadband is a lazy-ass company who doesn t care of his customers are recieving poor support. Or the fact that customer support send you round in circles. The service is apalling. We have paid for 10MBit/s speed. We get, on average, 2MBit/s. We got that speed on our last broadband provider (the max we could get, very happy with Totalise/Madasafish) which we moved away from because we ne... PlusNet ... was quite surprised to see so many negative reviews about plusnet. When I moved out 6 months ago they seemed like a good choice for me, as both of my parents and my sister used them for their phone and internet, and you get free anytime calls to other plusnet numbers. Combine this with the fact that BT had told me that the phoneline for my house had been disconnected due to its previous vacancy, and wanted to charge me £120 to reconnect it! However, when I phoned plusnet not only would a reconnection have been cheaper than that, but they actually found that I hadn t been disconnected after all. Now, I m aware that this isn t the same as reconnecting me for free, but th... Read the full review: Highly recommended by BlaEm |

AOL ... Broadband I used the AOL dial up service which was 14.99 a month and gave you unlimited access to there services. A number of years ago AOL were my preferred dial up service of choice yes there were a few pounds more expensive than other unlimited providers but you had the added extra of a free technical support line and British call centres if you had an issues for example Chat was fun and the whole package made the fee quite reasonable. There was also the added benefit of if you wanted to cancel you spoke to cancellations and as they worked on commission would offer you a free month and you just called back a number of times before you signed up again using anot... virgin.net ... was with Sky before I joined Virgin. I had bad experience with the broadband and customer service with Sky but the sky box (cable) was good. I decided to transfer to Virgin considering they were offering fibre optic internet, cable and phone without having to pay extra for BT rental at the cost of around 30 pounds a month versus sky s 55 pounds a month plus BT line rental. Internet I have to say the quality of the cable internet is so much better! Considering it s fibre optic, there is less noise and it doesn t get disconnected during strong rainy days. I had problems connecting my iPhone and my partner s mobile phone to the wifi with sky but with Virgin s intern... Read the full review: Virgin service by sarah81783 |
