Newest Review: ... believed that the share price would continue to soar. In recent years the share price has never made £1 per share and Kingston has been dropped from the footsie hot one hundred. The exceptionally cheap calls have become a thing of the past, although overall I think that the priciong is pretty good. The problem is that they have a range of tariffs and it all gets quite confusing. If you are the sort of person who hardly uses their land line most of the packages will see you out of pocket. Consequently Hull folk have more mobile telephones than anywhere else in the country and many locals no longer have land-lines. The quarterly line... more

Kingston Communications was at one time just known as Hull telephones, I seem to remember. As a child in the fifties our Hull telephone service was one of those things that the city could be proud of. It had been in operation since early in the 1900's.It was owned and run by our local city council and Hull citizens enjoyed much cheaper telphone calls than the rest of the UK. We had our own cream telephone boxes and Telephone House and everything seemed to work wonderfully well. Of course , in line with many councils, the Hull Council never follows the adage 'If it's not broken why fix it' So sometime in the last 10 or 15 years our telphone service was ...

Absolute Rubbish!!!!!!!!! - Advantages: cheap - Disadvantages: Kingston Interactive Television - I have had the misfortune to have been viewing or rather not viewing for over two years. It constantly crashes without warning, switches to other channels when it feels like it., Karoo - Kingtons Comms answer to AOL, Freeserve etc. what a joke, it is quicker to post a letter by the royal mail than to send an email via karoo., When the rest of the BT receiving nation can benefit from unlimited internet access with any of the real internet companies, our mickey mouse company meters the charges so we are limited to 30 hours per month for the same price

I live in the City of Hull and must admit feel very lucky to have our own telecommunications company. Kingston Communications run our telephone systems here in Hull and also are starting to expand into neighbouring villages and towns. The cost of a local call is just 5.5p per phone call. There is no time limit which is rather good news for me as i spend must of my spare time either on the net on chatting. National costs vary according to off peak(after6pm) or peak times. eg:20min call to Eastbourne from Hull at 8pm would cost approx.48p Not Bad i think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 ...
