Madasafish is a terrible name for a broadband provider. So why did I join? Well, I didn't actually; my old provider, IC24.net was taken over by Madasafish so I joined by default. Thankfully, I was able to keep my old e-mail address! I have been a customer of Madasafish for over five years now, so have a lot of experience with their ... Read the complete review

Madasafish customer service is pathetic - am sure that they are unaware of the term. I have been with them for some time as they offered a decent product at a reasonable price. The problem comes though if you have to contact them for any reason. They took the incorrect amount from my account without telling me, then when I called them to find out ... Absolutely rubbish - I cannot stress this anymore than this. The support is inept, almost to the point of "sharp practice". We did a transfer away from them and they immediately deleted all DNS entries, and now 72 hours later due to "server problems" we have no net, no web, no email, no business running.
We have complained to Nominet after speaking to support over 30 times and constantly being promised that it will be done in the next hour.
If you chose these people for anything then YOU as as mad as a fish.
Completely useless.

Absolutely horrific experience in trying to get away from these scammers. £320 to cancel a phone line and broadband???
Have contacted Consumer Direct and they have passed on the complaint to trading standards. I would urge you to do the same if you have similar problems.
Considering the phone line is advertised with no cancellation fees and no minimum contract, its a little suprising to be presented with a £160 cancellation fee.
Plus one month after signup, they emailed saying we now charge £20 to anyone who cancels. Althought the email didn't say it, they claim that you had 31 days from that email to cancel if you didn't agree with the new charge. Unfortunately, cancelling would attract a further £120 charge so would be something of an expensive protest..
Absolute jokers. Avoid like the plague.

Madasafish are a straight forward broadband and telephone provider. You get a set allowance to use and if you go over that they will tell you. You can monitor your usage on their website. They bill on time every month and you will get a discount for the first 6 months. They also do a straight forward telephone package and it is cheaper than alot ... Read the complete review

I have been with Madasafish for 3 years now. I joined as at the time they were offering a good price. After my 12 month contract ran out I was looking to switch to a different supplier, however after a phone call to ask for my MAC code, they asked why and I told them the price of the package I was going to move to and they agreed to match that ... This really is a rotten fish, I have been with Madasafish for nearly 10 years and am now looking for another ISP, the service provided has nose dived in the last 6 months, I have had my email blocked, internet access disrupted and had my phone line cut off when they said I had gone over my monthly limit when I had actually used 20p of a £30 ... I had no problems with madasfish until I tried to cancel my broadband. They continued to charge me for several months after I left but because I had phone with them I couldn't cancel my direct debit. I had to fight for a refund each month and finally I cancelled my phone line as well. I have now officially left madasfish and have recieved yet another invoice. I will be cancelling my DD, getting a refund from my bank and making an official complaint to madasfish. Don't use them, its not worth the hassle.

I signed up for Madasafish about six months ago - I must admit there was no real thought behind it other than "they look like the cheapest for phone and internet". We had a bit of a struggle to get things set up originally. Although I suspect BT Wholesale might have been partly to blame for that, it would have been nice to ... Read the complete review

I came to Madasafish via the Care4free merger. I find their service first class. I have had numerous problems/queries over time which they have dealt with always in a prompt, friendly, and decisive manner. They sorted out a BT line connection problem in a matter of hours long before BT responded to complaints from other people in the locality who had had to deal direct with BT. A minus - download can sometimes be slow.

I wouldn't use Madasafish. Their support is useless, they don't want to report any faults to BT, the same excuses everytime, "Your connection was disconnected and your line must be re-synched, next time you call we will escalate it to BT" I have spent over 25mins tonight, sent 10 emails since Feb and they no longer reply. Madasafish! What a strange name! We had never heard of it before, but picked this ISP from a magazine that was a guide to choosing ISPs. Basically I was totally fed up with Btinternet taking the mick. After being a very good customer of theirs for about 3 years, they decided that they didn?t like me any more because I was a high access ... Read the complete review

This opinion applies to all ISPs. I have decided to place my opinion in Madasafish as it best describes me. From my analogy below, I bet you will agree. This has bugged me for a while now and reading through some of these opinions has prompted me to actually take the time to air my view. Have you ever wondered why people using ... I am not sure how many of you are aware of the endless ISP's we have tried but up until stumbling across Madasafish we had in fact subscribed to none less than 7, some remained our ISP for quite a lengthy period whilst others we were annoyed at pretty soon after joining them. Since Iomart sold madasafish, the support seems to be non-existent. Their old 'timezone' service has been discontinued - but beware if you sign up for their new 'Timezone'. I used Madasafish TimeZone Light for several months. It is crap! I was foolish to stick with them for so long but it was better than: BT Internet and some pay as you go services, and I knew no better!
