Now BT have lost their monopoly, there is a never ending number of telephone service providers fighting for your custom. With BT offering a never ending supply of offers ( friends and family, BT together etc etc) it is mind blowing trying to work out the best deals. As I'm sure all readers of this are also taking into account telephone service providers offering free internet calls if you plug into their boxes (eg; Line One), how do we sort out the best deal.
I have discovered a site which lists every telephone service provider, and a break down of their call charges. this includes the different options such as friends and family etc.
Using this site it is straight forward to make a direct comparison between direct and indirect telephone service providers. (With "direct" you cut your links with BT eg :Cable.
With indirect you still pay your rental to BT,(therefore keeping 1471 etc) but your calls are routed through a different provider(eg:Line One).
Through this site I am saving a forune on my telephone calls, and am able to make regular checks to ensure I am still with the best service provider.
Dont stay with BT out of habit. You now have a choice, and companies are fighting for your custom. It costs you nothing to change, and is very straightforward.
