Advantages: Quick, It's Netscape!

Disadvantages: 0845 access, therefore hefty phone bills

Before defecting to BT Internet, I spent nearly a year with Netscape Online and was quite impressed. Of course being a Netscape fan from way before IE even existed, I'm admittedly a teensy bit biased, but this is clearly a top notch effort by the Netscape company, albeit at a slight cost phone calls wise.

Their connections were always speedy, and obviouslty as this is an older model of the free internet acccess companies there is no auto disconnection (which was nice)

Despite only having a BT line I still oftne got a connection of 50667 bps, which is pretty quick for a 56k modem, and stuff fairly flew down the phone line to my PC, almost always at a rate greater than 5k/sec.

A great ISP, now if only they'd do free calls!

NB Netscapeonline has some very good content on their website, usually up to the minute news weather etc, and is well worth a visit!
