Advantages: Great Once it's working

Disadvantages: It will give you health problems to set it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I work with the public and make it a rule never to lose my rag with anybody who deals with the public. However. . . . .Just don't go near these guys. They are totally frustrating to deal with. I moved house and was promised disconnection one day, and re-connection the next. Disconnection happened no problem. The engineer came to re-connect and said he couldn't do the phone and he'd come back in a weeks time. No explanation, no apology. A week passed and I waited in all day for an engineer. Then I had a phone call. The engineer was ringing my doorbell but nobody was in. He was at my old address over 200 miles away. After 3 hours on the phone I eventually got 2 engineers at 7PM who had to re-wire the whole neighbourhood to get my phone working. So that's fine, the phone was working. Then my internet just stopped. Another 2 hours of phone calls followed the next day when I was told that my internet had not been ordered and would take a couple of weeks. Why had I bben able to use it the day before?????

In short, just don't go near these guys. When I originally had NTL installed at my first address it took 4 visits from engineers over 3 weeks to get the TV working. They just haven't go a clue and will put your blood pressure through the roof!!

Summary: Just don't touch them with a barge pole!!!!
