Horrible phone service (NTL)

Advantages: Internet and tv seems fine

Disadvantages: Telephone has been out for about 4 times in past 12 months - about 1 week each time

The phone service is absolutely dreadful. I have few regrets in life - but one is taking on NTL phone service. As a perfect example: today is Thurs. My phone went out last Wed. I was told it was an area fault until Monday - when I was told that my phone was NOT affected by the area fault. An appt was made for tonight. I took time off work to wait for tech. I just called and was told appt was cancelled b/c the area fault was fixed?! So no one is coming tonight and my phone still does not work. They are now coming on Tuesday. I will be about 2 weeks total that my phone is out. I truly hate them.

Summary: Don't use them for phone service
