Disadvantages: Expensive and poor service
I am a university student, I have to use NTL service if I want to use the phone in my accomodation. Yet, I don't like the service of NTL. Obviously, the charge per phone call is higher. I have to use NTL phone card to make phone call and it started charge me money immediate after the telephone number was dailed. This means that it charged me before the call has been answered; I still have to pay for the call even though the person that I called was engaged to the phone or not at home.
Therefore, I strongly recommend you, don't use NTL if you have other choices.
