Well, I'v been a members of nutshell.net for a few days now and I ahve truly inpressed. Normally free dial-up ISP's can be slow, have bad connections, high modem ratio and premium technical support charges. Nutshells is not an ISP as such, Its a VIRTUAL ISP that is powered by VISP.com. There are a few local rate isp in the UK that are powered by VISP, SO I tried nutshell to see if it was the same quality. The VISP server are located in the United States Of America, Which I thought was a bit strange for UK internet access.

At first the service was very very slow, E.G Google was taking 7 minutes to load up EH !!!! After phoning the support desk, they tweaded a few setting and BANG, Lightning speed !!!

Hopefully they won't do what most ISPs do and overload their server with too many members.

Its advertised in all the internet magazines that there is no technical support by the phone. All these magazines are wrong in printing this. VISP/NUTSHELL does offer a nation rate technical suppoirt help desk.

On theire website you find up to date information on news, sports, finance, weather, entertainment and coming soon your also see travel.

Overall this is the best ISP I have been with in the last 3 years. Long live nutshells.
