O2 BroadbandNewest Review: ... nothing has gone wrong with them. They have been friendly when contacting them on how to set the connection up. They seem to be very good with their speed and you can download a lot of stuff in fast time with their fast broadband speed. They have also sent me texts about any offers they have available. They do text the same messages time and time again though for some reason! Their broadband ... more |

O2 are offering 50 pound cashback through Top Cashback and Quidco for joining their broadband! On top of that you get two months free and also save more cash if you are a pay as you go customer with O2! This made my choice much easier and I just made the switch over to them now. They sent me a text on my phone to confirm the details and informed me they would send the package in the post to me. The next day the package had arrived and there was instructions on how to set up the broadband. It has been only a week since using them but in this one week nothing has gone wrong with them. They have been friendly when contacting them on how to set the ... Read the complete review

After looking at the market of home broadband packages, I'd have to say that o2 was one of the best. The price, wi-fi box and the ease of setting it up is one of the reasons why I like it so much. I have been a customer of 02 for a couple of years now and have to say I am very pleased with the service. Here is the method I went through in getting o2 Home Broadband for my student house: 1) Work out which one of you should pay (should be an 02 mobile customer) Firstly, to get the cheaper prices for o2 customers (price list below) you should preferably be an o2 mobile customer, even if your pay and go, so it might be ... Having originally used Be Internet I was expecting similar or even better performance from O2 broadband. (For those who don't know, O2 owns Be). The reasons for choosing O2 was that it was cheap for the package I opted for (20mb) and I use an O2 sim card, meaning an extra discount each month. I've been with O2 for over a year now and the quality of service provided is superb. Recently I upgraded my package to "ultimate" one with the O2 Wireless Box III and the hardware arrived within 2 days. I did encounter a little problem whilst setting up the static IP but a call to the customer service team quickly sorted that out. Be prepared to wait for about ... Read the complete review

I have only ever had two broadband service providers - BT and O2 - and of those two the latter is far and away the better. The views below are my own and are far from exaustive. Whilst I will talk a bit about my reasons for choosing O2, I only feel qualified to tlak about my experience of O2 broadband. Disclaimer over, let's get on ... Firstly the cost. As I have a mobile phone I was uninterested in any pakcages that offered phone and internet combined. I was willing to pay the basic BT line rental and then look elsewhere for a unique internet package. If you're doing things this way I think it's definitely cheaper to just pay BT direct rather than ... Read the complete review

I switched to o2 broadband through a cashback site, and I'm really pleased with the service. I went for their midrange plan, which offers speeds up to 20Mbps and unlimited downloads. This was perfect for what I needed - Internet browsing, music downloading, and some video downloading occasionally. I ordered online, and they have a service which shows what stage they are up to in setting up your broadband (activating line etc). The router and everything else needed came through a courier about a week before the activation date, so everything was ready for the day it was activated. Although there were complaints on the internet about their ... Read the complete review
