O2Newest Review: ... pleased to find out I will also review all your reviews for you. I have called O2 a number of times from my handset and always get through quite quickly which is a plus and everyone I have spoken to seems to be based in the UK another plus. The only think that lets O2 down is the lack of knowledge in the web unlimited fair usage policy where nothing is written down but calling O2 you hear ... more |

I have been with O2 for a short time but believe I have experienced enough to give a fair review of the service you may receive as an O2 customer. I have been with O2 now for almost 3 months on there simplicity tariff that gives the customer 6oo minutes a 600 texts and unlimited landlines as my bolt-on of choice. I have found the o2 network to be far superiority to Orange and I was a customer of there's for almost 10 years. The sign up process was easy in one of there Bristol stores and the phone I was using at the time an Orange HTC Diamond touch was unlocked and worked well on there network I would lie to say at this point I have purchased a pay as you ... I've been with O2 for years because I think their tarriffs are fair and customer service has always been brill. I'm on pay as you go on the O2 Unlimited tariff and that suits me wicked because nearly everyone in my phonebook is on O2 so by topping up £15.00 a month I get unlimited calls and texts to them. The price to phone another network is quite high on this tariff though, especially to ring Vodafone because I've got 2 mates on Voda and a quick 2 minute phonecall to them costs me about £1.00. If you top up £10.00 you get unlimited texts to O2 but still have to pay for the calls so I reckon it's worth the extra fiver to get the free phone calls ... Read the complete review

I have been with o2 for 5 years. I started off way back when the Nokia 360 was the epitome of cool and the most fissionable phone. The reason for joining o2 at the time was because of there great genie chip they had. On their website you could get a sim card and 5 more for free. This particular sim was one that when topping up 10 pounds you got 300 texts for the month for free. At the time this was amazing as I could only send about that much anyway. The chip then upgraded so that if you spent 15 pounds you got 500 texts then if you spent 30 you got 1000. this was great until I got to about 17 and was easily spending around 30 pounds a month anyway. ... I have been with O2 on a few occassions now with my previous times with them being on pay-as-you go whereby I was always choosing based on the phone I was purchasing but recently I was looking into getting a contract phone deal with just a sim and was on a cashback website I use by the name of quidco.co.uk when I noticed a deal on O2 and decided to look into it. The offer was one I decided was good value for money and offering all that I was looking for and so I decided to take up the offer and since then I haven't looked back. I am not a big user of much on a mobile phone and am into the simple parts of using a phone so only need to have voice calls and text ... Read the complete review

My fiancee has been with O2 for about 8 years now, and when I moved to England I was looking to get a contract phone. The service in our village varies between providers, and very quickly I realised I could have orange, O2 or vodaphone, but not 3, Virgin or T-mobile. We called up O2 and on stating she already had a contract they sort of linked them, meaning we did not pay the advertised price. In the end we got a deal £8 a month cheaper than if we had just bought it online, and a £49 handset for free, so it is always worth calling up and bartering. However their system for creating new accounts is limited. If you have lived out of the UK in the ... Read the complete review
