Advantages: Customer service is excellent

Disadvantages: Most are 18 month contracts

I have been with o2 for just over 3 years, and I am impressed with the service they offer. Especially when I compare it to other networks Ive used such as T-mobile ( I was lucky if I ever got a signal !)

O2 do a choice of offers when choosing your contract whether it be having more texts or unlimited minutes. Whats great as well is that O2 will take all the details of what you want a phone to do whether it be a great camera or loads of memory to store music and then they'll give you a list of mobiles which match this criteria. You can have a look on the internet and see which one you like and then they give you a call back to help get it delivered. It was quick and simple and the phones I have received from them I have always loved.

Im also one of them people who love to update my phone once the contract is up but am forever wondering when it actually is my contract is up! No problem here as O2 will call you a couple of months before its ended to offer you the deals and these are good! You can upgrade your phone, or keep the same one and you'll pay almost half the line rental you were paying as well as other various offers. I went for the upgrade and O2 were still helpful by telling me I never use all my calls and texts so why not downgrade the contract so Im paying less a month! Bargain!

Even when I have gone over my limit O2 are still cheap as recently I went to America and was using my phone to ring and text and my bill I expected to be massive yet I was only £20 over! Yet when I was with T-mobile and I went to Tenerife and rang three times only for a couple of minutes I was stung with a bill for £150!!

The onyl drawback is that most of the contracts ar 18 months long but if your not fussed about having to hang onto a phone this long before you can cancel it or upgrade it then its fine!

If your thinking of getting a contract I suggest O2 the customer service is excellent and the phones they offer are great and the tariffs are nice and cheap!

Summary: Good network
