Hopefully Orange can learn from o2 (O2)

Advantages: Good online text message and sms backup service

Last year I signed up to an o2 pay as you go sim card. The reason for this, I just signed up for o2 broadband and to receive an even more competitive broadband deal I signed up to o2 pay as you go. With regard to the cost of calls and text messages, it seems to be the standard expensive rate, however there are a few features that make the o2 mobile network useful compared to other networks.

o2 mobile customers can register on the o2 website and send up to 100 free text messages a month. Personally I prefer to send text messages over the internet rather than text on a mobile. Orange also offer their customers a free text message service over the internet however the orange website is extremely slow. On the other hand the o2 site is fast.

The second bonus, is the introduction of bluebook. I have many friends who have either lost or had their mobile phone stolen resulting in them losing all their contacts and text messages. With bluebook, text messages are automatically stored on o2's servers. At any time you can log into your o2 account online and check your text messages. For people like me that like to organize their contacts & text messages online, I would recommend o2.
