Advantages: Great coverage, excellent value for money, huge variety of handsets, large variety of services
Disadvantages: A poorly designed accounting area of the website which is the reason for 1 star missing
I have been with O2 on a few occassions now with my previous times with them being on pay-as-you go whereby I was always choosing based on the phone I was purchasing but recently I was looking into getting a contract phone deal with just a sim and was on a cashback website I use by the name of quidco.co.uk when I noticed a deal on O2 and decided to look into it. The offer was one I decided was good value for money and offering all that I was looking for and so I decided to take up the offer and since then I haven't looked back.
I am not a big user of much on a mobile phone and am into the simple parts of using a phone so only need to have voice calls and text messages provided for and under the deal I am currently on I am provided with plenty of these to cover my needs each month with the ability to send a blank text for free to O2 to obtain information on my remaining usage and balance of my bill which I have been very impressed with. I normally manage my bills online but have to admit to not being a fan of the new look sections relating to billing on the O2 website and so I have been using the text service to keep upto date with my bills aswell as phoning the O2 contact centre who I have found to be very helpful.
O2 offers a great reception in my area and my signal rarely drops below 3 bars and I always find my calls are nice and clear and my text messages are able to be sent and received quickly and easily (not needing to keep attempting to send again as I have had with other networks).

- O2 stores who are able to help with queries (dependant on who you speak to)

- No annoying sales calls
- Phone automatically knows you are overseas and informs you it has changed you over to the relevant network aswell as wishing you a good holiday via text
Negatives:
- A poorly designed website for dealing with your account online
This is a mobile phone operator who I have trusted over the years on many occassions and have never been let down by. They offer great reception and value for money and are a market leader in the UK helping them to continue to offer great deals aswell as a large variety of handsets. I have never had any issue with them and my wife is on them aswell as members of my family who have all had the same customer experiences as I have had.
Summary: A great mobile phone network operator who provides what they promise
