It was Morecombe & Wise who made the first ever public cell phone call in Britain, back in the year of 1984 to launch the Vodaphone network. 25 years later the brick that the Del Boys would lug around the city of London trying to look cool, before the aerial shoots up their hooters, is now the size of a packet of cigarettes and owned by ... O2 is one of the biggest names in the mobile phone service provider companies. Previously it traded as BT Cellnet but then became O2 which now supply pay as you go mobile phones, pay monthly phones, broadband and are the only service provider you can buy an Apple I Phone with. www.o2.co.uk is their website if you need any more ... I switched to PAYG after receiving phone bills that ran into the hundreds every month (and reached a staggering crescendo with a £1200 bill one particular time). My marriage was somewhat feeling the strain and I just could not be responsible so I decided to go for PAYG. Now in all honesty it was a gesture to placate my husband and I figured I ... Ever since I got a mobile phone i've always stuck with O2. There are the other main networks out there such as Vodaphone - good deals, but not great reception where I stay, Orange - really bad reception where I stay, T Mobile - alright reception, but always seemed a bit expensive and 3 - again seemed a bit pricey. So it seems like I am ... Read the complete review

****This is a review of the O2 Shops********** The O2 brand(previously BT Cellnet and Genie)is currently known for mobile phones and that it has taken over the Millennium Dome as a hugely successful music arena. Clever marketing and calling it 'The O2' has meant every time an artist plays there they get heaps of advertising. Genius ... Read the complete review

I have been with o2 for just over 3 years, and I am impressed with the service they offer. Really good broadband service. Setup was quick and download speeds are really good. My only gripe was that the router they gave me was rubbish. Once I installed my own, it all worked perfectly.

I've used Vodafone, Orange and now O2 and in my mind they are the best service providers out there. Not only that but they offer discounts on there broadband package to O2 phone network customers so i pay a measly £7.50 per month on broadband. Back to the phone service, what i have found is that O2 offer the most rewards and freebies ... Read the complete review

I've been with O2 for over 5 years now and I really cannot fault the service, currently I live just outside London, the coverage from home is brilliant as is wherever I seem to go. I'm on pay as you go and I'm amazed at how many perks and extras they give you.. I thought these sort of things you only get with a contact. This is how my ... Read the complete review

I first became an O2 customer when at university 7 or so years ago. Having just received my student loan, I thought "why not get a new phone". In hindsight, it was probably not a very wise option, but being young and naive it seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm pleased to say though, that the service I received from O2 ...
