Going against the grain, I have to say that my experience with o2 has been thoroughly positive. Having been a pay-as-you-go Virgin Mobile customer for a couple of years, I decided it was time for a change. Like others, I felt that I had ?outgrown? p-a-y-g ? in the sense that I was using my phone a lot more ... Read the complete review

Don't go near O2 Online! Cheap calls, but you pay for it as soon as you sign up. Customer Services is a premium rate number at 50 pence per minute. They will offer you free Customer Services by e-mail but don't expect to receive a reply if you have a problem. All you will receive is a Auto-mated confirmation notice! If ... What do most people think of when someone mentions ?o2?? Some of you may think, BT Cellnet, or That Phone Company. Whereas I think of a bunch of evil, money hungry, conglomerate, heinous fat cats sitting atop a huge pile of money whilst providing crap customer service and expecting to get away with it! ... I've been with O2 for quite some time now (remember when it used to be Cellnet ?) My main reason for choosing them was they seemed to have the best tariffs for my needs. Coverage is pretty good (most of the time) but is not without the loss of signal here and there, sometimes in the most unlikely places. However, it has to be ... Read the complete review

INTRODUCTION ============== First of all, read my review on my masterpiece 'diary with nokia 7250i' (trying to promote here isn't it obvious?) Well o2 and that phone came together. The phone was free with the condition that I paid the monthly fee of 30pounds for 200 minutes. The phone was nice, but I'm not a heavy phone ... Read the complete review

having had a few phones over the past few years, i have been a customer of many service providers. i have been on 121 (now T mobile), orange and vodaphone, however my current provider O2 outweighs the rest by far. i found other providers quite expensive and found some of the price plans very excessive in price. i feel O2 has many ... Well as the saying goes, you cant live without O2, and I cant live without my mobile connected to O2. I have been with O2, right from when it was Cellnet (and the first phone I had actually the registered the Cellnet network as UK10). I like to text a lot, and I occasionaly use the phone to call landlines and other O2 mobiles. So ... Read the complete review

I have in the last twelve months changed my tariff from Virgin pay as you go to O2 online pay as you go (genie replacement). What can I say a bad move would be an understatement. The tariff allows you 300 text message and 300 WAP minutes for your £10.00 monthly top up. You are assigned an anniversary top up date in which your new quota of ... Read the complete review

I have had my account for nearly a year and pay by direct debit. Whilst travelling abroad suddenly my phone reads "Outgoing calls barred". There was no warning and no contact number given. I can not make any calls and have to use public pay telephones. After 7 calls and holding over 2 HOURS I am told that I am using the telephone too ... Read the complete review

I saw the o2 X1 on the o2 website and thought it was a real good phone for the price, The specification was excellent, and the camera and video capture looked great too. After a short while getting used to all the different key functions I thought i would try out the MMS media messaging function. So i took a picture and tried to send it ... Read the complete review

This is a review on the inconsistencies that seem to exist within O2. I've been a pay monthly customer of them and their predecessors, BT Cellnet, Genie etc. for the last 7 years or so, having initially 'bought' my first and subsequent'phones through a Scottish high street company called DX Communications. I have finally, after much research and deliberation, upgraded my mobile phone. I had just finished a 12 month contract with O2 in December and as much as I loved my dear little Nokia 3330 (gone but not forgotten), I knew the time and technology had come when I had to move with the times and upgrade. As there are so many different deals ... Read the complete review

I moved over to O2 Online last September after having been with Virgin Mobile for about three years. I didn't really have any grumbles with Virgin - they had excellent, friendly customer service, who had, on more than one occasion, given me in excess of £10 call credit in apology for the rare problems I had with them. But I was spending £30 a ... Read the complete review

I first got my mobile phone about 5 years ago, with BT Cellnet. After a few months of using my phone, I went to live abroad. So, I gave the phone to my dad because I had no use for it. We had relatively few problems with BT Cellnet. Everything went horribly pear-shaped, it seems, when O2 took over. I tried repeatedly to change the mobile ... Read the complete review

Both my wife and I have been with O2 since it was Bt/Cellnet, so a good few years. We had both subscribed to Line-Advance contract, paying up-front for a whole year, each year. Generally this has meant quite a few inclusive talk minutes each month, and initially a number of free SMS too. Generally each year we'd also go into the BT shop and ... Read the complete review

i have read some reviews on this subject on O2, and have seen many of them are not very positive. i can say that i've been on o2 for 3 and a half years now, and have not had a major problem with them. i would just like to say that most of the people on here, when they talk about poor customer service, most of them are on the o2 ... I'd like to warn fellow members regarding the potential false economies of joining O2 either on contract or prepay. I joined a while ago whilst it was still called Genie. Admittedly, it has undergone a degree of re-branding but the internal legacies remain. Having cancelled the contracted after one year I received a credit ... Read the complete review

I have been a cellnet/BTcellnet/o2 customer for a number of years, first having had a number of pay as you go sim cards, but switching to an o2 online contract last year. Ok well I can't live without my mobile, literally I think I would have an utter breakdown if it was to go missing for any length of time. Sad, I know but I guess that is part of the curse of being young today. (Blame it on society!)
