Advantages: Cheap Calls
Disadvantages: Coverage
I think in the past One 2 One have had problems matching Vodafone and Cellnet but I believe they are now on the write track with their new tariff's wider range of handsets and better coverage. One 2 One have just published their new tariffs which are a great deal compared to some other network operator costs. An example of this is the Anytime 200 tariff which gives you a massive 200 minutes for only £25.00 per month where as for the same price you only get 150 minutes on vodafone. Also if you look a the call charges one 2 one only 5p per minute at all times where as Vodafone is 10p peak and 5p off peak vodafone being a massive 50% more expensive. Another advantage of the Anytime tariff is the low cost of cross network calls compared to other networks 20p per minute on one 2 one but can be as much as 35p per minute on other networks. But I think the real Jewel in the crown of the new one 2 one tariffs is the Anytime Max for £75 per month you get unlimited use when calling landlines or one 2 one mobiles this is an amazing offer for the high user. The network operate a fair use policy where they ask you to only use up to 3000 minutes but they will just warn you if you go over not charge you. If you compare the price of this tariff with Vodafone 2100 which £180.00 a month and you only get 2100 minutes and if you bust your minutes you will have to pay extra Precept Max is a bargain and half for the high user. I have recently changed my tariff to the max and it is really strange to use the phone when ever i wish without having to worry about call charges. Another improvement with One 2 One has been the realease of many new handsets like the Motorola V50 and Nokia 8310 (out any time now) these new phones used to take ages to hit the network. I will not go into detail on the handsets as their is another section to write about that and you can read my review on them their. I also believe that one 2 one have invested in improveing coverage as
it seems to be much better than 12 months ago. Where I live in south Yorkshire i used to get many dropped calls but recently many of the blackspots have disappeared. I also find that one 2 one has some of the best coverage on the east coast. Another plus to One 2 One is that they have improved their customer services which where terrible the waiting times have dropped from about 15 minutes to about 2 and the staff are very helpful compared to some of Vodafone's. You will also find that they are helpful where upgrades are concerned and will offer you some very good deals to stop you leaving the network.
