One2One Prepay (Up2You - More2Say)Newest Review: ... seem quite expensive, but they are similar to other networks in this. Voicemail; One2One are still leading the field here, it's free and easy to use. WAP and Email WAP (although I've not got it) seems too expensive at 10ppm, with no inclusive or free minutes (ie. Cellnet's free minutes and Orange's free weekends until the end of Feb). Mobile email is also poor as your address has to be in the form;07xxxxxxxxx@one2one.net, and you have to pay to use it (I think). I've never used it, and I've stuck to the likes of BoltBlue, who provide email to your mobile for free (exc. the cost of SMS) SMS Pretty standard 10ppm,... more |

One2One was, at the start of last year, the network to be with. They were better than the competition in terms of call prices and in terms of the range of PAYG phones available. But as we enter 2001, they are still not bad, but I'm not sure they still have that edge. The basic concept: 30ppm for 1st 2 min/day 5ppm thereafter These call prices are still quite low, especially if you use you phone a lot during peak periods. They also are a lot simpler to understand that BT Cellnet's and Orange's. I think peak and off-peak times are out dated in our 24 hour society, so 121's price plan is a breath of fresh air. ...

Recently I found out that one2one charges 40p/min. for Freephone numbers (e.g. 0800.xxx). It doesn't say this on any brochure I got before and upon buying the phone. One would assume that a FREEphone number would not cost more than a landline number... And not giving information about this hidden surcharge is very bad business practice. The freephone numbers are important to access calling card features in order to call abroad at a reasonable rate. I checked at 2 One2one stores, and they didn't know about the surcharge for freephone numbers! If you have to CALL ABROAD, ORANGE prepaid looks better on the paper (and friends of mine ...

Had it got rid of it but it was fun! the One2One network is alright the phone gets good reception most places and the call charges for a pay as you go phone suit me: 30p for the first two minutes a day and then 5p there after. the calls to other networks are 30p at all times and textmessaging is only 10p a message. there is one problem and that is that the network gets very busy and you cannot always get through to the other end. the vouchers come in these denominations £10, £20, and £50 and they have an infinitive lifetime (whatever) One2One state in the fine print that the voucher , once credited must be used in 180 days or the phone will be disconnected....
