This one is a bit of a sore point for me as they have really messed me about, but i will be as inpartial as is possible as otherwise it's unfair to everyone else. I first signed up with onetel about 1 year and half ago, they were not very well known at all and there were very few reveiws available so i took a bit of a ... Read the complete review

Onetel claims to provide a low-cost telephone service, this is partially true but isn't all its cracked up to me. Plus points *Online billing/account service is quite good. *International calls are quite cheap. *The ISP and other services are of moderate value and atleast you can have everything on the one bill. *I ... the worst customer service you could imagine, don't trust their marketing, and you'll find that you have made phantom calls, any disputes about your bill and you'l be stonewalled and they would love to have easy access to your bank account which if you told your bank to cancel will land you with further penalty points. These companies ... Read the complete review

You read the title? Good. Unmetered. One Tel actually means it. Unlike BT Openworld who limit you to 150 hours online a month, or Freeserve who say that their service is unmetered but get annoyed when you use it too much, One Tel allow you to be online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The connection is good, it disconnects every ... Read the complete review

Onetel was recently awarded 'ISP of the year' and deservedly so. The service offered by onetel is outstanding. There are a variety of ISP packages to suit anyone. There's 'pay as you go' where you pay only 1p per minute and monthly Subscription packages are as low as £3.99. Unlimited access is only £9.99 per month. ... Read the complete review

I have been using OneTel almost since they started up in UK and they have a number of features which I think are excellent. Firstly, I use www.onetel.net.uk as my ISP and email provider. £12.99 a month for unlimited access though just recently the lines have been rather busy at times. Secondly, I use the basic telephone service ... Read the complete review

The latest news on the Financial Times yesterday is that OneTel is going belly up. The shares have been suspended, the liquidators will be coming in and all in all, things are looking unstable (they reportedly need A$300m to keep the business going). What really gets my goat is that if you visit the site, everything seems to be ... Read the complete review

Its a good idea but watch the small print. I am a very light phone user and if I used OneTel my phone bill is higher because they have a minimum charge (10p) i think, this is higher than BT (4.9p), which is for three mins, so for the majority of short local calls I would be paying an extra 5.1p per call-and it all adds up. For regular LONG ... Read the complete review

I didn't like the service at all so when I choose another service after my mobile phone contract with them was up they still billed me. Now that was the bad bit the good bit i think was the customer service because once i proved to them they were only too happy to refund the money in full. But in the end i recieved a cheque in the mail but ... Read the complete review

Out of all the companies i have ever had the mis-fortune to deal with, Onetel has to be the worst. They send me a welcome e-mail with an e-mail address. So i'm having problems so i e-mail them....only the e-mail keeps getting returned to me because the e-mail address does not exist. So i write 3 times to there head office and to this date i ... One Tel, well what can I say. They are the best third party telecoms provider I have ever seen. My girlfriend lives in the United States and before getting One Tel my phone bills were through the roof. International calling with BT and Cable costs you a small fortune. I had seen there adverts so many times and never thought of using them until one ... Read the complete review

If OneTel would quote hard and fast figures for timed calls to specific locations and then do a comparison with BT, they might at least get a flicker of interest from me. The trouble is that there are lots of companies all offering to save you money but they don't do useful comparisons. For example, prices may be 40% less than BT (for ... Read the complete review

I signed up for One Tel the other week. It sounds like a great idea. And I'm sure it is, but the customer service is appalling. I tried ringing them after I had problems logging in to my account on the website. It takes a long time to get through anyway, but okay, lines get busy. Fair enough. However, I was kept on the phone for ONE HOUR AND ... Read the complete review

I have been with OneTel since Sep 1999 and they have offered faultless service: not one bad line, dropped call, billing error or interrupted internet link or lost email. They have been quite superb and anyone requiring moderate usage internet access or access to Webmail really should give them a try. This review is just about OneTel.net ... Read the complete review

OneTel has already made its mark on the lucrative international call market that BT exploited for so long, but I don't think that they will be able to break in to the volume driven local / national call market. The banner doesn't really tell you anything you don't already know. I think OneTel need to be able to show the ... Read the complete review

The one.tel banner gets its point across well. Join up with them and you will save money as opposed to the tariffs charged by BT is their claim. Whether this is true or not is another matter - I'm quite happy with BT and see little reason to change. The one.tel banner's overall design and colour scheme fits in with the feel of ...
