Advantages: Magic numbers.
Disadvantages: More expensive than some other networks. Need to improve customer service.
I have been with Orange for 10 years now. I have always been on pay as you go.
They have changed the plans a number of times but the current four go by the names of animals:
Dolphin - This gives you free texts to any network if you top up each month. If you top up by £30 a month then you will get unlimited free texts and free mobile access to Facebook.
Canary - You get free evening and weekend calls for topping up. £30 top up will give you 240 minutes.
Racoon - 15p calls to any network any time and 10p texts to any network at anytime.
Camel - Calls abroad from 5p.
They also have magic numbers so you can add up to three numbers which you can call for up to an hour three times a day. This saves me a lot of money. the only disadvantage is if you phone a person on you magic numbers list and it goes straight to answer phone then you will be charged 20p straight away and one of your hours will be lost.
I find the coverage to be very good and have never had an unexpected signal problems.
I have had to contact their customer service on a number of occasions and found them not to be very helpful to begin with. I would have to phone 2/3 times before I even reached someone who was helpful and understood the problem I was having. I do however think that the customer service is getting better. It can be quite expensive to keep phoning them.
The reason I have stuck with them is because most people I phone are on this network so I get cheaper calls, otherwise I probably would have switched by now.
Summary: Orange Network.
