Advantages: Good deals when upgrading

I've been a customer of orange for over three years now, mainly so my girlfriend and get cheaper calls to each other (as she's on orange as well). I've not really got anything bad to say about them - they've always been really helpful through their customer services, there are not really a lot of unwanted messages and phone calls (usually just related to their offers) and the calls and messaging costs are pretty cheap.

I'm on pay as you go, so I can't really comment on their contract services, but my girlfriend is on contract and they have treated her really well. She's just upgraded to a Blackberry Pearl and has had a chunk knocked off her monthly bills, with orange care and free internet (an old offer which they have kept going to their credit), so if you do upgrade, remember to play hardball and they should throw in some extras (as with most phone providers from what I can tell).

Amusing fact (and should be worth a 'useful' rating on its own:
Orange once got into a spot of bother when it started out in Northern Island by putting up billboards with the slogan; "The Future's Bright, the Future's Orange."
