Advantages: A mobile phone network that exists

I purchased my first pay as you go mobile phone in 2001 on the orange network. For a good five years I regularly used the network and also eventually signed up to the online orange webmail that allows Orange users to send and receive mail and to send text messages online for free. As a result of this I had many emails and contacts accumulated in my inbox.

However, since I registered a new mobile on a new network I used my orange mobile less and hadn't topped up my Orange phone credit for over 6 months. As a result my Orange phone number was deregistered, email address and all online emails associated with the account deleted without my knowledge or permission. After complaining there was little that could be done except reregister my account and just accept all my prescious email and contacts had been deleted into oblivion.

It seems that Orange do not have much regard for customers' data, if they're not profiting from you, they will just delete you without even warning.

Summary: The future is not orange, if it is it's dark, say goodbye to your data
