Back in March 2008 I had the chance to get a new mobile contract out with Orange. I went ahead and took the chance of taking this offer with them, the deal included free cross network minutes of 350 minutes every month plus free calls to other customers on Orange on the weekends. However to my surprise every month they were charging me extra for using the free minutes. They had activated the wrong tariff on my contract and were not sorting the issue fast either.

It took them 3 months just to sort out the tariff and it was a huge headache talking to them on the phone. The way staff have been trained there is just wrong as they hardly know what they are talking about. They hardly offer any help and most of them even put the phone down on you. They seriously need some training and need to improve their customer service.

I tried for weeks and weeks sorting the mess out with them but nothing ever got sorted. I was owed over 150 pounds from Orange for the wrong charges on the calls. Guess what happened about it? Hardly anything they never repaid the cash to me and carried on with the contract. I even got through to somebody in the UK on behalf of them and they at last managed to sort out the problem for me.

Speaking on the service of Orange the reception used to work fine in my area all the time. It was just I had the wrong tariff put on and the more than unfriendly call centre staff did not help either. Them are the main reasons my time on Orange was not a cheerful one.
