Advantages: Great ideas on reward schemes
Disadvantages: Poor customer handling skills, very poor customer services
Ok, Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal customer towards orange for many years now and as the years go by, I notice just how much orange telecom employees lack manners.
Putting people on hold is not an option, But a way of milking money out of customers.
My theory is that Orange employees are given £ 5 and a Satsuma for every minute they put a naive person on hold.
BT and orange must have a secret world domination plan, their plan??? PUTTING PEOPLE ON HOLD.
When I have the guts to, I will sue orange for wasting my life by making me listen to Sonni.
Although Orange deprives communicational skills, I have to admit ... the range of various and packages the company put on offer are PRETTY good... I have always thought of orange as to be the phone company with the most offers available.
Orange have introduced "Reward Packages"
You choose out of the 5 rewards you can, you choose the one more suited to your lifestyle.
For example, if you can't stop talking, choose canary which would give you 100 free minutes. But they have to be used by a certain date.
The minimum figure you have to top up by to receive these "rewards "is £10. The more you top up by, the more "rewards "you get.
Monkey (NEW! ) : Monkey is my favourite package and is also a new one. I love listening to music and I know lots of other people do to; this is an ideal package for those people who just have to tap a beat! The package enables you to have access to free music and free texts. If you top up by :
£10 you will get free access to music and 300 free texts
£20 you will get free access to music and 600 free texts
£30+ and you will get free access to music and 1,000 free texts
You can create an online playlist to which you can listen to your favourite artists and you can even share the songs with your mates!
Canary: Canary is an animal package which enables you to free minutes. I think this is the package for people who love talking! I know I can never get off the phone! If you top up by:
£10 you will get 100 free evening and weekend minutes
£20 you will get 200 free evening and weekend minutes
£30+ and you will get 300 free evening and weekend minutes
Dolphin: Everyone I know has a dolphin animal package! I think it's the most popular package. It's an ideal package for those people who don't want to waste money on calling. You save a minimum of 10p if you text instead of call with orange.
If you top up by:
£10 you will get 300 free texts
£20 you will get 600 free texts
£30 and you will get unlimited free texts.
These offers and indeed all of the packages are for a month. When you register for your package, you will get a text from them. Also, with the dolphin package, you can get free access to face book, bebo and MySpace.
Racoon: Ever wanted to save 5p a minute with orange? Well, if you want a consistent calling rate, racoon is your package! Unlike dolphin, canary and monkey, this isn't based on how much you top up by. You can top up by £5 and get this package. If you choose racoon, you will still get 10p texts to a any network, anytime. And that is another advantage of racoon.
Camel: Camel is a package for the globe-trotters of the world!!! You can get calls to any of the 50 different countries for 5p! There are also 20p calls plus 10p texts to any mobile network at any time.
These are the package rewards orange do.
Summary: Great network for saving money, Not so great for when your phone breaks!
