I have been an Orange customer on the pay as you talk plan: 'Just Talk' since summer 2000 and have also purchased and registered Orange 'Out Here' to my account. In 2000 I experienced a period of sending text messages that weren't getting through yet still caused my account balance to decrease with every message and, worse still, my mobile phone informed me that the message HAD been sent. I wasted a lot of credit sending messages that I thought had been delivered, but they hadn't. I rang orange customer services WHICH IS NOT FREE OF CHARGE TO CUSTOMERS: this added insult to injury as I was told they had network problems in my area and they did not offer to reimburse me for the unsent messages. I also had to pay for the customer services call which, as I am a student, crippled my finances. I am happy with the 'Out Here' package as I get 5 free texts per day for a one off payment of £14.99 and the network coverage is generally very good but not as good as Vodafone (I also have a Vodafone PAYT account).
