Orange is the best mobile phone network in the UK. It has the best coverage and will match any other networks tariff so is also the cheapest. The only downside is the lack of prepaid 12 month simcards you can get on Cellnet/Vodafone but you can sometimes pick up a boxed and ready (phone and 12 months line rental prepaid) for around the £30 - £40 mark. A Everyday 50 contract is a very good deal for students. Etc. as it means their phone is basically free all night/weekend and they can get a top of the rnage phone (eg T28) for free. Orange Just Talk is also a good deal and a lot better than Cellnet’s and Vodafone’s prepay tarrifs.
