After reading quite a few negative reviews about the mobile network Orange, I thought I would share some of my more positive experiences (and before you ask, no - I don't work for Orange!). I switched to Orange about three years ago, after a terrible experience with O2. After such a bad and near impossible experience trying to leave ... Read the complete review

I think it is very safe to say that Orange easily has the worst customer service which I have had the misfortune to come accross. I dont know a single person (out of many friends and family who have dealt with Orange) who have not been on the recieving end of their blatant disgregard to the wellbeing of their customers. Over the past ... Read the complete review

Abysmal treatment of existing customers. Orange today openly admitted to me that they treat new customers preferentially to existing ones. In practice that meant them wanting to charge me £119.99 for a handset upgrade on the exact same talk plan and contract length on which a new customer would pay nothing for the same handset. ... It's at least nice to see I'm not the only one that's being scammed by Orange. I would like to add my experience if that is ok; I have tried to keep it real and to the point but it is kind of long. It's hard to believe this all has happened in less than 1 month. Actually it's hard to believe most of it and it happened to me first hand. If you're ... Read the complete review

I have the pleasure of having my interrnet supplied by Orange. I am a few of Wannaddo's original customers when they sold out to Orange, I have no idea why! So I was a bit wary of any new rules that Orange was going to replace but was pleasantly suprised when they offered us a Unlimited Downloads of up to 8Meg line for 19.99. However, ... I have been with orange for at least 5 years with no problems untill the last 12 months, dont know why the company has gone to the dogs but it has. I would advise anyone to avoid them at all costs. There is no customer service , the calls centre seems to be manned by people whose sole purpose is to hack you off as quickly as possible, put you on ... Read the complete review

Orange Broadband - if you are thinking of joining... DON'T!! We have been with them for a few years now (I'm an old Wanadoo customer) and had nothing except appallingly bad customer service. It seems that every month we have an outage for at least one day. As usual this problem was Orange's fault, and as usual they were of no use at all ... Read the complete review

There is no such thing as Customer Service at Orange. If you have a problem you have to ring the call centre in India where the staff are unable to help. I cannot stress how unsatisfactory the service I have received has been. Anyone reading this should be advised not to touch Orange for their Broadband. Phone side of the organisation seems OK but as soon as my contract expires I'm off.
All I have received from Orange is the brush off - you will get a cheque within 28 days (WHICH 28 DAYS - THIS MONTH, LAST MONTH, NEXT YEAR, AFTER I AM DEAD?)

I was with Orange for nearly 5 years as a customer and in that time I did not feel very valued when I tried to do certain things it never happened and a lot of the times the signal I got was terrible.I first joined the Orange network in May 2003 and had a 12 month contract and found out the phone i got which was Nokia 6100 and found out that my ... As a family, we have been with Orange for years. My Dad uses it for his business and has around 12 phones with that. My brother and I also use their pay as you go service. I got a brilliant deal a few years ago when I paid £10 to get 5 free texts a day forever. I've had that offer for around 4 years now so i've had over 7000 free texs and will ... I've been an orange customer for a long long time now, and i'm seriously thinking about switching the number to another network - Its been getting harder and harder to deal with their customer services, the signal seems to be getting worse and worse, and most importantly, to me, for this lesser service i'm being charged more and more. I agree that Orange reception is absolutely rubbish. I'm stupid enough to have got drawn in again with what seems like a good contract deal although dealing with their customer service is enough to drive anyone mad. Now I'll pay the price in other ways with no reception at home or local area and forget any help with problems, impossibile to ever get through to anyone there who knows anything about their products. I've been with nearly every mobile phone operator...O2, Vodafone, T-mobile, even Tesco and BT, and I have found orange to be a reliable mobile phone operator but a lousy internet service provider. I have been with orange for many years and have found them to be quite a good service provider. I first pondered over the many different contracts that they had on offer, confusing myself in the process. I finally opted for the pay as you go option as, at the time, I only really needed the phone for receiving calls for work and this ... Read the complete review

This review is ONLY about Orange Broadband. I signed up to Orange Broadband in November 2004 and after three years of shoddy service I have finally decided that I have had enough. When the service works, it is an OK service but when it fails it is a disaster and unfortunately if fails far too frequently. In the past 3 years I have ... Read the complete review

Orange are a joke! I live in Northern Ireland and the signal is dreadful! Also customer service is a disgrace! I recently needed a new mobile and bought one from the Carphone Warehouse who unlock all their payg mobiles so my orange contract sim SHOULD have worked in it! Did it? NO! My partners o2 contract sim did but my orange one didnt! And I'd actually purchased a payg orange sim with it too which worked! Orange advised me they lock their phones for 90 days until its registered which unables me to use my orange contract sim! Fiasco! No other network does this! I have 6 months left with these cowboys and for me the future WILL NOT be orange!
DO NOT EVER GO WITH ORANGE! THEY ARE A RIP OFF JOKE AND ARE NO HELP TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Orange sent me 2 phones. At £35-00 per month each. They said I ordered them but I never. They were returned and were recieved by Orange. They have now charged me 4 months at this rate. After many phone calls, letters to their fraud department, formal complaint. I have yet to recieve a letter of explaination. I am about to write to the ADR scheme. Not holding my breath.
Orange, the future's a muddy fuddled soup. Think I'll change to 3.

Orange are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. My experience is as follows. I saw on tv a free laptop deal PC World and Orange were offering. The deal was a free laptop to the value of £300 from pc world as long as you take out an 18 month contract with Orange broadband at £20 a month, also included was free landline ... This was originally a moan that I submitted on Ciao. I think people here need to be warned too.... live in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
