When I moved out 6 months ago they seemed like a good choice for me, as both of my parents and my sister used them for their phone and internet, and you get free anytime calls to other plusnet numbers. I was with Plusnet for over 6 years. I have now moved away after a series of bad service. I had enough of being lied to. They now charge £20 for the priviledge of closing your account.
After giving over 20 referals to them over the years, I get a 20 quid thank you from these sharks.
My warning to anyone, there are much better service providers in the UK!

They send you around in circles looking for problems with your connection (downstream speed particularly) that they are obviously aware of yet are in complete denial. Plusnet - PlusNOT. Absolutely the worse ISP you could find. Support via their websire is only answered if they think it worth bothering with. Telephone support is quoted as having aa average wait time of 13 mins. This is based upon a 24 hour period and includes time from 12:00am to 6:00am when they have almost no calls at all.
