PlusNet TariffsNewest Review: ... change. Throughout my time with them their service has gone from strength to strength, and luckily since being bought out by BT they have managed to keep their own identity and way of working (good move BT as you know if you'd have fully absorbed it 90% of the customers would have jumped ship immediately) There is a reason they are continually rated No1 provider, its because they will help, ... more |

I have been with Plus Net for 5 years now, since moving to a BT only area. I have been very happy with them since day 1, when i had a router problem and the person on the phone actually knew what they were tlaking about. I am very knowledgeable in IT, so being able to talk to someone when you have a problem who doens;t just say its Windows, or reboot the PC is a refreshing change. Throughout my time with them their service has gone from strength to strength, and luckily since being bought out by BT they have managed to keep their own identity and way of working (good move BT as you know if you'd have fully absorbed it 90% of the customers would have ... Plusnet ADSL, I changed from Virgin Media to the Option 2 plusnet package, and to be honest, im very glad i did, The initial set up was time consuming, around 4 weeks to be honest, but this was due to an error mainly coming from Virgin's way. plusnet kept me updated but unfortunately most of the information to keep me updated was online, so can't actually look at it when you have no connection. After the initial connection i got my first email to say about the date they would be taking payment for the DD and the support I recieved through trying to set up the broadband was excellent, might I add they also gave me technical support at no extra expense than a ... After having bad experiences with other ISPs (Gio Internet, Wanadoo), a friend who is in the webhosting business recommended Plus.net. After checking out reviews online we decided to swap to them. Wanadoo wouldn't let us go, and it took a few weeks to get the necessary info from them that would allow us to swap. We went with option 2 which costs £14.99 a month. It currently gives you 15gb a month usage allowance, and free overnight usage. It's now a one month contract, although when we signed up around 2 years ago it was a one year contract. You also get a free wireless 1 port router if needed. There is a cheaper option, Option 1, which is ... Read the complete review

Woeful. I paid up front for router and connection. They kept promising a router, blamed Royal Mail for everything, quoted mailing number which RM didn't have, got me to check on status (RM tell me that the sender should be doing this). When I eventually decided that enough was enough and I wanted to cancel, they decided that I was to pay an additional 30 days service charges in spite of having paid up front for a non-existent service. They wouldn't let me speak to a manager, hence my decision to make public my disquiet. They seem to regard service and customer relations as afterthoughts and ones which are of much less importance than their perceived contractual ... Read the complete review

A company who got my custom by purchasing my previous supplier. While at one time the service was OK it has degraded this year to the point of being totally unreliable. They have a mentality of always blaming someone else; BT lines, my phones, my router, their Cisco kit, Tiscali wholesale anyone but themselves. They have useless support and avoid at all costs receiving phone calls - call their sales line and they answer immediately! Avoid ... Read the complete review
