I have been with Plus Net for 5 years now, since moving to a BT only area. I have been very happy with them since day 1, when i had a router problem and the person on the phone actually knew what they were tlaking about. I am very knowledgeable in IT, so being able to talk to someone when you have a problem who doens;t just say its ... Read the complete review

Plusnet ADSL, I changed from Virgin Media to the Option 2 plusnet package, and to be honest, im very glad i did, The initial set up was time consuming, around 4 weeks to be honest, but this was due to an error mainly coming from Virgin's way. plusnet kept me updated but unfortunately most of the information to keep me updated was online, so can't ... After having bad experiences with other ISPs (Gio Internet, Wanadoo), a friend who is in the webhosting business recommended Plus.net. After checking out reviews online we decided to swap to them. Wanadoo wouldn't let us go, and it took a few weeks to get the necessary info from them that would allow us to swap. We went with option 2 ... Read the complete review

Woeful. I paid up front for router and connection. They kept promising a router, blamed Royal Mail for everything, quoted mailing number which RM didn't have, got me to check on status (RM tell me that the sender should be doing this). When I eventually decided that enough was enough and I wanted to cancel, they decided that I was to pay an ... Read the complete review

A company who got my custom by purchasing my previous supplier. While at one time the service was OK it has degraded this year to the point of being totally unreliable. They have a mentality of always blaming someone else; BT lines, my phones, my router, their Cisco kit, Tiscali wholesale anyone but themselves. They have useless support and avoid ... This used to be an excellent ISP but in the last 2/3 months it is absolute rubbish. Very frequent disconnections, bad customer service and now very low line speeds ( ave about 1.3 ). They really don't seem to know what they're doing - if you can log in to their support page have a look at the acknowledged problems on email and ADSL dialup . I am ... Read the complete review

I signed up for a slightly more expensive package that allowed me to leave any time, as I was in an unsecure financial situation. I was assured I would not be locked into a contract & would not have to pay any exit penalties. This was the main selling point for me. 4 months later I became ill & lost my job. I telephoned Plusnet & ... Read the complete review

Their website makes all sorts of grandiose claims such as 24/7 support. In practice, they make every effort to be uncontactable except through their webbased forms. That 'might' be ok in theory. In practice, if you cannot get on-line, or cannot access their portal, you are up the river without a paddle. Yes, they give a phone number ... Read the complete review

I first joined up with plusnet over two years ago on their 512kb home broadband service for £21.99 per month with no download restrictions. I have never had a problem with the service itself and have now upgraded to 2mb premier for £21.99 a month which I think represents excellent value for money. also comes with a referral system where ... I have been with PlusNet since the end of May 2002 considering lots of people recommended them to me and the fact I know (in a way) someone who works there. Great I thought. No problems at first. And, despite the fact there have been a few inconveniences over the last few months due to downtime for entire days because upgrades to their ... Read the complete review

A friend of mine applied for BTOpenworld ADSL. About 2 weeks later after studying adslguide.org I applied for ADSL from PlusNet. 10 days after that I was up and running. 2 months on my friend still isn’t, yet is still being billed by BT for the service he isn’t getting. He can’t get through to their customer services and is about ... Read the complete review
