... was quite surprised to see so many negative reviews about plusnet. When I moved out 6 months ago they seemed like a good choice for me, as both of my parents and my sister used them for their phone and internet, and you get free anytime calls to other plusnet numbers. Combine this with the fact that BT had told me that the phoneline for my house had been disconnected due to its previous vacancy, and wanted to charge me £120 to reconnect it! However, when I phoned plusnet not only would a reconnection have been cheaper than that, but they actually found that I hadn t been disconnected after all. ... is it?~ Plusnet is an Internet Service Provider (ISP), based in Sheffield , UK, they provide broadband, phone and dial up internet. They are one of the few ISPs to tell you honesty what speed you will likely get, at minimum, although it is usually much faster, and unlimited means unlimited! ~Are they any good~ Well I have just joined them, they didn t tell me when we were going to change over, just that it would be very quick.
