Quip are one of the many new phone operators on the market where you use a BT line but ring a number before to get cheaper telephone calls. I joined Quip because they did a special offer with Lineone my internet Provider. Part of the offer included free internet calls if I made £5 worth of calls with Quip. That offer is now over but I continued to stay with Quip for a few months afterwards. Quip have a very good website where you can have a look at your statements and various other items. I, like many of Quip's customers, would not have been a member had it not been for the Lineone offer where we got free internet access if we spent £5/month using Quip as our telephone company. Quip is one of those operators that require you to dial a code before you dial your number, then enter an account number and password. Its quick and easy to use. As for calls, it isn't cheap to phone locally, marginally cheaper in the daytime but more expensive at night. It is cheap to phone the continent, and I was able to use it to phone my girlfriend in Spain while she was on holiday.
