Advantages: Fast and cheap if you are a Sky customer

Disadvantages: none yet - only had it for a month so far....

I recently signed up to Sky (including Sky Plus) - paying only £21 per month for 2 tv packs and Sky Boradband, and I must say, so far I have been very impressed! I hate signing up to new 12 month contracts escpecially with broadband companies, however I feel as though I have certainly made the right decision this time. Broadband with Sky costs only £5 on top of your tv package and its quality of service is excellent!

I don't know whether I'm speaking to early but i have had no problems whatsoever. The guy came (1 hour early) and set everything up, no problems, even gave me a quick tutorial on Sky+, I didn't have the heart to tell him I knew how to use it.

I asked about the router and he said it would be delivered in the next 7 days, to which is was shocked and thought what a stupid system that was not to bring it with him but 2 hours later a courier arrived with it.

I went to set it up then realised i hadn't had a letter with my activation date so i left it. When i got the letter and the date, again there was a 7 day wait with possible another 3 (due to demand) and to be honest i was starting to get a bit worried if this was the start of things to come. Out of sheer impatience I set it all up anyway and to my surprise everything worked first time and a week early. I couldn't have been happier.

So far I have had no problems and the internet is so far, very fast and very reliable. Again, I hope im not speaking to soon but i felt i should leave a review as a satisfied customer and it looks as though sky should start off their reviews on this site on a positive note. I will update this review if I have any problems.

Although i haven't dealt with customer service yet, i ordered over the phone and the guy was great, even gave me a Sky Plus box half price.
