Advantages: Unmetered tariff not bad
Disadvantages: Help expensive and slow
I also got my SupaNet with my Time PC, and have been with SupaNet for nearly a year and, as somebody who hadn't had an ISP before, i've found them to be pretty good.
I pay £9.99 for unmetered usage and, until I decided to sign up for Toucan Broadband/phone last week, i didn't think that was too bad.
The connection - in a year i've only found it impossible to connect twice, which isn't too bad. It chucks you off every 2 hours, but all dial-ups do apparently.
You can set it to automatically re-dial when this happens, and to connect automatically if you prefer to go into IE only when you choose.
I'd recommend that people use geeks2go, a free forum that provides technical help (very good help) i they have a technical problem (i used them when I was hijacked).
Also, do remember to get not only to get an AntiVirus (Kaspersky came with my PC and is very good), but also download some free anti-adware and anti-spyware programs (adaware and spyguard are good, also use spybot on top). Hijackers are not detected by antivirus programs. Panda are more than excellent.
If you want a decent enough ISP, i'd recommend SupaNet
Summary: Good unmetered price
