WRONGLY NAMED. I have used supanet since it came out. It didn't take long for me to seek another ISP. As I have some far reaching contacts out there I couldn't just stop it,,,, so it sits there as a 'stand-by' ! I am so surprised that it is still a shambles after all this time,,,,, but even more so at the lack of customer service. Every ... Read the complete review

wait until your contract is up and you have to migrate to another ISP. Oh you are in for a fun time. After finding out that the 12 months was up I then found that I had to give a months notice...in writing!!!! And don't forget...pay yet another month's fee. Then when it did finish I tried to obtain a migration number from Supanet to give to AOL so ... Read the complete review

I've been with Supanet for approx 20 months and up until the last couple of days have found their service to be ok. However, I've just bought an Apple Mac and have just tried to connect it and have failed. I've tried to contact their tech services, initially having to call their premium rate £1 a minute call line only to be told they do not ... Read the complete review

I've been using Supanet for nany years, originally dial-up, then broadband. I must say I've rarely had problems - but when I have, technical support is pretty poor. Recently, inexplicably I had problems sending (not receiving) emails, more and more often, their smtp server would not respond. When I sent a message to them, they didn't seem to ... I'm interested in the reviews of Supanet because I also had it foisted on me 3.5 yrs ago when I purchased a Time computer. I agree that the support is expensive and almost non-existent but what I really object to is the way the monthly cost has crept up so stealthily! Be warned, you won't keep your cheap deal for long! My monthly bill now comes ... Read the complete review

I also got my SupaNet with my Time PC, and have been with SupaNet for nearly a year and, as somebody who hadn't had an ISP before, i've found them to be pretty good. I pay £9.99 for unmetered usage and, until I decided to sign up for Toucan Broadband/phone last week, i didn't think that was too bad. The connection - in a year ... Read the complete review

I’m not a very technical person, so I apologise in advance if my review doesn’t go into enough detail about speeds and techie things for the liking of some! I never made a conscious decision to use Supanet as my Internet Service Provider; it was forced upon me when I purchased my TIME PC a couple of year ago. Supanet is ... Read the complete review

First of all let me say that Supanet's standard "local rate" service is fine. It does what it says on the tin. Last May I signed up for their unmetered service, called "Supahighway". They had offered an unmetered service previously and withdrawn it. I assumed this would mean they had done their sums properly before ... Read the complete review

I apologise in advance for a couple of things in this opinion 1. I am not very good at writing opinions, but I genuinely feel that I would like to save others going through what I have put up with 2. I may rant, because Supanet have caused a lot of grief. Firstly & main problem with Supanet is the length of time & the number of tries it can ... Read the complete review

RANT ALERT!! RANT ALERT!! I apologise in advance, but this is going to be a rant from a highly upset person (as the title may suggest). I will try to watch my language, but I am typing with steam coming out of my ears in fury. From work, as it's about the only place I can get onto the net these days! Supa? Don't make me ... I've found it so hard to get online with this ISP that i've been reverting to my old ISP and incurring the call charges, even though i've already paid for an umetered service. I haven't been able to get connected at all today (it's 9.45PM) and there's no technical help number available at this time. To ... Read the complete review

Supanet looked quite good when they first came out but failed to impress in the end. I find the connection speed is very slow, compared to a lot of other ISP's. I really only signed up for the freebies at the start a free tshirt, business cards, book, and actually was loyal for some time while I waited for the unlimited internet ... Read the complete review

I saw an advert on the back of my magazine for this that caught my eye because it boasted a free starter pack worth £49 which included the software for their internet service, I signed up and I was impressed with the connection speed which was 46K on average on my 56K modem - connectivity was great with no engaged tones or server problems. ... This is a very average Internet service provider. The classic service means paying per minute which if you are a heavy Internet user can be VERY expensive. The connection speed is average and this is by far not one of the best ISP'S out there. Supanet is provided free with all TIME computers and I would recommend that if you do have this ... The first ISP I used from my new PC was supanet. mainly becuase I picked up the CD for free in a cheap 'how to use the internet' magazine. The magazine was pointless, as I know how to use the internet. I just didn't have an ISP a home, having relied on my fast, free connection at the University where I had worked/studied. ... Supanet advertise themselves as an excellent Isp that will solve all your problems. Another ad feature is a welcome pack of T shirt and other freebies. Well I signed up when this offer first came out, about three months ago, and they still have not delivered. Theer service is also very slow. Most ISP's I use crank along at 46,000 bps but ... I originally signed up with Supanet just for the web space. I was getting fed up with not being able to connect to my Freeserve account while I was using a different ISP. Which meant I always had to switch my connections just to make a little correction and change a minor detail on my web pages. (The reason I kept changing connections was because ... Supanet - not!! I used this, briefly, some months back & it was dire!! I had frequent problems in connecting & the email (which I still use - amongst others) very rarely manages to come down! Connection speed is nothing special either. If you do dial-up with them, it prevents you sending any email from any other ... Read the complete review
