I originally joined t-mobile when it was still called one-to-one so I have been a customer of theirs for a very very long time, eight years in fact.

I've always found their call centre staff helpful and polite and have always been able to resolve any problems I've had with them fairly quickly. The major problem that I have faced (and still do) is the waiting time to speak to someone. I've often been on hold for ten or fifteen minutes (sometimes much longer) before anyone has answered the call. They don't even have good 'hold music'!

Going into one of their stores is another matter. Its obvious that their store staff operate on a commission basis. They are always trying to get you to buy 'extras', especially phone insurance. They can sometimes be a bit pushy and insist on reading all the terms and conditions to you, even when you tell them you are not interested. Which is a shame.

I am aware that there are sometimes network problems when making and receiving calls is impossible but the frequency of this happening is getting less and less. A few years ago it happened all the time but I cannot honestly remember the last time it happened to me.

T-mobile is not the cheapest mobile phone service provider but they are one of the best and are always on hand to try and get you the best and cheapest option on their network. They also have a wide range of handsets and are much more strict than other networks when it comes to quality control.

I would recommend them to a friend.

Summary: Possibly the best mobile phone service in the UK.
