Advantages: Flext; great idea for a price plan.

Disadvantages: Customer retentions.

T-Mobile have been around in the Uk since the swap over from one2one in 1999. Like all other networks, they have a good range of handsets available in Pay as you go or Pay Monthly.

One of their price plans is Flext, which allows you to use a set amount of allowance on either; makings calls in the uk, sending sms and sending mms. This really works for me as one month, I might decide to make a long phone call to a friend for a natter but the next month, I'll be text mad.

They also have Combi which is just like any other normal phone package with a set amount of calls and texts.

One thing I do find is that unless you lucky enough to live in London, where there must be a phone mast around every corner, you will get average reception.

Whenever I upgraded last year to the Sony Ericsson w850i, I had a range of problems with it that needed to be sent away for a repair. I did not feel I was given enough of an explanation on why these problems were occuring, which would have put my mind at ease.

My upgrade renewal time is now up but T-Mobile havent offered me a great deal and I would be better off swaping to one of their rivals in order to get the handset im after.

I think one of T-Mobile's major problems is that they need to focus on retainning valued customers instead of spending so much time and money recruiting new customers with expensive advertising and special 'new customer only' deals.

Summary: Will provide an average service.
