I signed up to talktalk last year, after recieving a leaflet about free broadband, When I signed up I found that I couldnt get the 'free' broadband but could get broadband for £10 per month, typical, but £10 isnt much so i went for it, first my modem wasnt posted out to me and I went 2 weeks with out broadband, they was quick enough to take my money. My broadband speed started to slow right down and even started disconnecting itself. I emailed talktalk earlier this year and said that I wasn't happy with their service and that I would be phoning to ask for my MAC code so that I could leave, they emailed back with an out of dat code which infuriated me more. I phoned them up and as soon as I mentioned the out of date code they hung up on me, not one to be beaten I phoned back and they put me through to an english speaking operator who gave me a real mac code and was quite polite. I'm glad I left them and certainly wouldnt recommend them to anyone else. free broadband? I'd rather pay!
