When I joined talk talk I had this idea they where a friendly almost caring communications company. This opinion was formed by all there advertising and branding.
In realty there customer service couldn't care less about its customers and have no interest in answering problem or dealing with concerns in an intelligent and just way. I was billed for a service that was never even switched on and hit a brick wall at every discussion with there horrendous customer service. There product is a joke, I wouldn't recommend this brand to anyone. The Broadband speeds are laughable customer service is disgusting and the billing system is corrupt.... What more can I say.

TalkTalk whats to say about these scammers well quite a lot. I almost join TalkTalk after seeing a number of ads on tv for value broadband & talk package for £6.49 per month but a number of things they didn't tell you. But myself i like to see what i am relay getting before i pounce and grab the offer. What ... Read the complete review

Wait until you leave Talk Talk!! I had been a customer for over 6 years with both telephone and broadband, I then decided to switch to Virgin for a complete Phone, Broadband and TV package. I wrote to Talk talk and cancelled my account giving over 30 days notice. A few weeks later I receive my final bill of £88.64, £70 of which is a cancellation ... Read the complete review

I moved over to TALKTALK to try and save money on my phone and broadband costs. I was happy with my then providers, but cost savings were needed. So I switched to a package that gave me my call package, my line rental and my broadband for £17.74 a month. This included a free wireless router. The broadband gives a 40gb ... If you are familiar with the saying ,'those who do not hear feel' this sums up my hard headedness when i did not take heed of my brothers warning not to join talk talk's internet service. I have been a customer of virgin media since the days it was known as NTL and there internet service is brilliant when you compare it to the others floating ... Read the complete review

With everyone slagging off this company I thought I'd add my pleasant experiences about this company to increase its rating. We've been with Talk Talk for about 18mths and have had no problems at all, well kind of. We have a package where we get free calls to 01 & 02 numbers (if we hang up before an hour) and internet access with a ... Read the complete review

If you are looking for a cheap provider and are prepared to risk poor customer service if you have a problem then I would recommend talk talk. We have been with them for several years since shortly after they launched the 'free broadband' deal that left their customer service department overwhelmed. Internet connection has on the whole been very ... Read the complete review

We've just signed up for Talk Talk broadband to go with our Talk Talk telephone line. I will freely admit that in the broadband stakes I am unfaithful! Yes I tried 'em all (nearly), so I know what other provider services are like. I can't say we have gotten off to a good start. This makes me seriously worried about what is going to happen if there ... Read the complete review

Talk Talk has various advantages and disadvantages. If your telephone line is working okay they are pretty good but if you get a fault on your line be prepared for a long wait and lots of telephone calls. Unlike BT where an engineer comes out pretty much straight away Talk Talk go through at least three stages of the process, which involve ... Read the complete review

My experiences with Talk Talk have nearly always been very positive. I signed up to the complete phone and broadband package when I realised how much I would save by changing from my previous provider, BT. This brings up one of the great things about talk talk which is the price. I am not exactly sure of what price I pay but it seems to me to ... Read the complete review

Being, like practically everyone else in mainland Britain, thoroughly cheesed off with the extortionate cost of the phone service we were receiving from BT, one evening last autumn when I was cold-called by an operator from TalkTalk / Carphone Warehouse, I jumped at the chance to change service provider to TalkTalk. This was a big ... Read the complete review

I don't think you can find a cheaper telephone and broadband deal anywhere. I really do mean that. I have been with talk talk now for 3 years and consistantly my phone and broadband bill is never much more that £21.50 which is basically my call package and broadband package. Occasionally I have to pay a little extra for calls made to mobiles and ... Read the complete review

We have been with TalkTalk for around two years now, and I think we will stick with it - because we cannot be bothered to go through the hassle of changing providers again!! We have a package that is currently costing us around £24.00 per month, and that is including all calls, broadband and also includes an extra premium for having ... Read the complete review

I have been meaning to review Talktalk for a while so I will say that this review may seem rather outdated. I moved out of my last flat at the end of June 2008 so a lot could have changed since then, particularly the prices considering that this all took place before the credit crunch. Anyhoo', I think it's the service they provided that counts ... Read the complete review

I first started using Talk Talk in 2006 when I was looking for a cheap option for broadband internet. At the time I was a BT customer and a friend was telling me about this Talk Talk package that her sister had told her about. Well, her sister has been known to tell the odd tall tale, so we were both very sceptical at what sounded (and what ... Read the complete review

It must be said that the general perception of Talktalk is quite negative. How can a company so much smaller than the big players in the market such as NTL and BT, be able to undercut the price of telephone and internet so much. Before talktalk, I was a loyal member of freeserve/orange/wanadoo for internet and BT for telephone. ... Read the complete review

Talk Talk are rubbish. They will fight with you to cancell your contract. I tried to cancell my telephone account after almost 15 months and I was made to fight tooth and nail to do this. They were trying to hold onto me at all costs. I eventually did, 4 phone calls to customer service and 2 to the cancellation drpartment later. Some rude and arrogant customer sales assistant had the guts to tell me that her supervisor did not want to speak with me despite numerous requests I made as I was clearly getting no were with her. She said she was at branch T33, Northampton or something.
I am glad to be free from them and I hope no one experiences the same treatment that i received

I pretty much got sooked in by the offer of everything for £17/month instead of the BT landline and broadband which I was on at the time. I categorically stipulated on the sales call that I needed a fixed IP address as I have my own small business and run a Email server and was assured that I would get one. Having recently converted to the church of Talktalk I thought I would let you good people know my experience with them. Firstly may I say that during the time they were sponsoring 'Big Brother' I instinctively shied away from using them. Obviously they were doing that to target a certain demographic, but to me it just made me question ... Read the complete review
