TheTesco PAYG card is a good deal for occasional users at home. But watch out abroad. The Tesco PAYG sim does not work with all phones when abroad including as it happens the nokia 2610 which Tesco sells. Tesco doesnt tell you that the PAYG card may not work with older or more basic phones , probably because they just assume everyone has the latest model. But PAYG users tend not to have the latest gadgetry. If you ask Tesaco staff will tell you the card works with all phones. But just make sure they check. Dont take "Yes "for an answer. I am taking an old Nokia 3510 to Spain with a vodafone PAYG sim in it, having copied over my emergency contacts , because the 3510 wont work in Spain with Tesco PAYG.
