I wrote to Talk talk and cancelled my account giving over 30 days notice. A few weeks later I receive my final bill of £88.64, £70 of which is a cancellation fee, upon querying this with customer services I was told that I had renewed an 18 month contract and had cancelled within this 18 month period. So I switched to a package that gave me my call package, my line rental and my broadband for £17.74 a month. This included a free wireless router. ... you are familiar with the saying , those who do not hear feel this sums up my hard headedness when i did not take heed of my brothers warning not to join talk talk s internet service. I have been a customer of virgin media since the days it was known as NTL and there internet service is brilliant when you compare it to the others floating around. My brother had warned me about the problems with his internet and the fact it kept disconnecting even though he lived close to one of the masts, but yet I chose to listen to the sales rep when they said those problems have been ironed it.
