Advantages: I can't think of any (sorry)
Disadvantages: Where do I start?!
I have one piece of advice for anyone considering signing up with Three or taking out a pay as you go phone with them - DON'T DO IT!
I got an INQ1 on Three for Christmas and since becoming a Three customer I have had no end of problems... extremely poor signal, calls dropping, email service disappearing, charges they can't explain (but want me to pay regardless) you name it, I've suffered from it. This wouldn't be too bad if Three offered exceptional customer service, but in my opinion Customer Service is not a familiar concept to Three.
When you call Three you are put through to a call centre in India to poorly trained staff who have no idea what you are talking about. They're very polite, but totally unhelpful. They want to transfer you to about 6 people (none of whom can help) and you end up screaming when you come off the phone.
If you send them an email or write to them, you just get the one response - "Call us" which infuriates you all the more as you know what lies ahead in the call.
They're totally useless and I plan to leave them. Hopefully everyone else will leave too and they will then learn (too late) how to treat customers.
I hate sounding so negative (read my other reviews and you'll see i'm not usually this harsh) but they're rubbish. I've had to give them 1 star here as it wouldn;t let me go lower but really 1 star is way too many for Three!
