Advantages: Its cheap maybe
Disadvantages: dissconnects,email
I have beeen on tiscali internet for over 2years now. And i know when i move out of my house to live on my own i wont be using tiscali broadband!
I think im on the 1mb broadband package and i aint too sure how much it is, as i dont pay for it.
The homepage itself isnt so bad, has a wide range of news on there,games,entertainment and a help section. I rarely use it to search anything because i find google is the best search engine around. The only thing i use the homepage for is the email, I use this email address alot and to get into your inbox is either simple or really annoying!
Most of the time i have to refresh my page over 5times to attually get my new emails to show up, most of the time i log in then it doesnt show anything so i have to refresh again or to get it to work perfect log back out and back in again! Its terrible if you want to check your emails quickly!Really annoys me!
The connection itself works OK but be warned it disconnects by itself all the time!A right pain if you uploading photo's to a website!
I only use this cause my parents set it up! But i would never use this service again! Its a waste of money and would rather get a better and decent server than tiscali!
Summary: Dont use this, there are far better!

- 03/09/08 I have been with this company for over 3 years for my internet in general i seem to get a good signal i check my e mails through the outlook on my computer but you have to set it up to do this but the instructions are somewhere on the tiscali pages cos this is how i did it, when i moed house it took them weeks to recconect me and i spent most of those weeks on hold to them calling to see when i would get connected in the end i said i was cancelling my direct debit and it was on within the week. but overall i'm happy with the ineternet connection i get.
I am on broadband wasn't sure if you were on this or dial up cos i had dial up and that was crap. |
