Disadvantages: email has changed address, very slow even with good connection speed, log on slow
I used to think that Ntl's free internet service was bad, but then I moved house!!!
We moved to an area not supplied by Ntl, so we signed up to surf and talk with BT and signed up to Lineone.
Their pages are solid, but I find it very very slow. I am always with UKonline, I tried an experiment and even though the connection speed was identicle the ukonline connection was noticeably faster, with page refresh about twice as fast.
Another problem I have is that it verifies my username and password twice, and so it takes on average 3 minutes before I connect.
I did phone their custommer support (50p per min)but of course they blamed BTs phone lines. (as most isps do).
So not a good report from me, I think they've over subscribed their service.
