After several years, I decided to try spam protection on my free tiscali email account. It was useless so after a year I didn't pay the £6 to maintain it. What I didn't realise was that all my accounts would be disabled because of this. I wasn't notified about this.
I finally got through to a completely unsympathetic support guy and it seemed the only way to get my accounts working again (besides spending time on their premium rate support lines) was to pay the £6. 24 hours later I still can't log in. I get in touch again (after another long wait) and am told the last guy didn't enable the accounts. He says he will do it. 24 hours later and I still have no email. AVOID TISCALI AT ALL COSTS.

In my opinion they provide extremely poor customer service.
I have made several complaints via telephone and letter and have been given a lot of misleading information and false promises. It has wasted a lot of my time and money.
The broadband service is also running slow several times a week now and I often have to restart my PC or the router to resolve it.
My contract runs out on the 17th February 2009 - can't wait to be free of them.
I've spent several hours speaking to people who were not able to answer my questions either because they did not understand what I was saying or did not have the information I required.
I've been transferred from department to department at my own cost having to redial each time because of your disjointed customer service infrastructure.
