I joined u-net more than 3 years ago and although when all the free services started popping up I had thoughts of leaving, the reliability of this service convinced me to stay. U-Net gives value for money. The tech support is always prompt, useful and friendly, the connection is quite reliable, with only few incidents of difficulties getting online. Sometimes I get disconnected without apparent reason, but this happens mostly on the weekend 0800 access number. The 0880 access is perhaps the only sore point. I've been with U-net for over two years and have to say they are the best. They've spent the money on what matters - the service rather than flashy websites, marketing and gimmicks. The performance is superb, I can't remember the last time I got an engaged tone and the line never drops. The three services I use most, other than dialup are Webmail - to read my mail at work, Mailfilters - to forward my mail to my mobile phone and Webspace. I was very pleased to be able to use my free space to be able to host my WAP pages (just load them up like HTML pages). I have been with U-Net for almost 2 years now (My account expires in September 2000). I have never experienced an engaged tone, and the customer support is excellent. About 6 months ago, I took part in their 0800 trial, and as a result of this, I now receive 6 hours of internet access at the weekends on an 0800 number free of charge.
