The 'Gone to the Dogs' opinion is about ukonline.gov.uk, which is not related in anyway, shape or form to ukonline.net/ukonline.co.uk (who have been going for over 7 years and have nothing to do with the Government)

I've been using UK Online for a while now as my ISP and they're really good, they've also recently introducted OpenSurf, the long awaited flat rate access plan so I can finally use them as my main (actually, only) ISP. The service has always been fast and reliable and I couldn't be happier with them.

I've never had occassion to use the helpline, but the emails I've sent to the support desk have always been answered quickly and efficiently. The webspace is just incredible, nice and fast to use and seems reliable enough.

I love the extra services they offer, their webmail is a priceless service, their homepage is relevant to the things happening in the uk and the news on the homepage seems to keep on improving.
