Great value - Advantages: 15.99 for 30 hours of calls, free mobile calls on one of their plans, good customer services - Disadvantages: sme countries not that cheap

(Although I am an American customer, this is the same company.) I feel there is a deliberate pattern of deception by Vartec. I was told I would receive a written contract telling me what my service would include before my service started, during the call from the Vartec salesman, which I did not receive. I called Vartec for the written contract, and was told again that it would come. I did not receive it again. When my bill came, it had charges for a primary line and taxes that I thought were included in the local service that I signed up for. I believe that is what most customers would believe. I don’t know how many of you are aware of VarTec’s services. As for me I only found out just last week. With the amount of phone calls, especially International calls, that I make I am absolutely just kicking myself that I did not find out about this earlier. Let me tell you a bit about the company first and then we will get to the service that they offer. The company is called VarTec Telecom Europe Ltd. I joined 1363 VarTec two summers ago. Maybe they have changed now. I don't know. At that time, they were giving away an offer of sixty minutes free if you paid by Direct Debit instruction. So, I sent they my filled form and everything seemed to be fine. I pretended to use it to save some money when calling to mobiles, but I wanted to get sure first of their prices. I called VarTec and one of the customer assistants told me it was indeed cheaper to call to BT Cellnet and that she was "almost sure about the same for other mobile networks".
